About Me
I was always a dreamer. As a boy, I dreamt of being a Major League baseball player. I even practiced signing my signature in between the stitches of a baseball. My biggest dream was to be in The Major League Baseball Hall of Fame. Then life happened.
As I faced reality I struggled. I never had a role model or a Mentor. (More on this on my live show). I feel my turning point came when I moved to Las Vegas. I knew The Hall Fame was out.
I was 22ish. I became a games dealer. This is when I overcame my first fear of mathematics. I was never good at math. In realty, I was never good at school--even in the classes I liked. History and science were my favorites, but I barely passed them. Funny, being a writer, English was my second worse class after math. However, I developed a new dream. I wanted to be Las Vegas Dealer. In gaming school, I was taught it’s all about learning each game’s formula.
Then in six months, my first dream came true. I was a five-game dealer in Las Vegas. I dealt Blackjack, Roulette, Pai Gow, Texas Hold ‘Em, and Baccarat. I LEARNED THE FORMULAS!
After five years in Las Vegas, I made a bold move to Long Beach. During that move I found my journal of poetry and love poetry, which all started at a high school football game where I met my first high school crush. I started to think about this poetry I wrote at 15 years that survived 20 plus years. This is when I started to think of my journey for true happiness. I wrote four romance poetry books which was a means to come to terms with some life decisions (both positive and negative) and mistakes. Then Spirit shined a light on a September day in 2010. This day would change my life forever.
I discovered that when you find true love, Spirit’s dreams are automatic. When you have a life partner, you dream together--whatever your dream is. I feel the secret to life is communication, growing, loving, and dreaming together. I know love and passion are the starting point of motivation for fulfilling your dream.

Standout Memories from Childhood:
I grew up in Santa Barbara, California, on the same street as the parents of New England Patriots star running back and Santa Barbara favorite Sam “Bam” Cunningham. When Sam came home, he would sign our football cards and footballs, and sometimes he would play catch with the neighborhood kids.
As a kid, you don’t really understand how special something like that is. Looking back now, it’s pretty amazing to think I got to hang out and toss a football around with an NFL star.
We used to play street football with all the neighborhood kids, and sometimes a few of the dads would join in too.
My worst street football memory happened when I was 11. I was wide open in our so-called end zone, and I dropped the pass. If I had caught it, I could have bragged for the rest of my life that I caught a pass from future four-time Pro Bowler and Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Famer Randall Cunningham.
Happiest Time as a Kid:
They always say a dog is man’s best friend, and at times, our family dog really was my only friend.
Precious was a Beagle and German Shepherd mix. She was about the size of a Beagle, but she had the coloring of a Shepherd.
We used to take long walks together, and one of my favorite places to take her was my elementary school, just two blocks from our house. It had a big grassy field, and once we got into the schoolyard, I would let her off the leash. She would run around chasing anything—and sometimes nothing at all.
I always felt at peace when I was with her. Our walks usually lasted only an hour or so, but I loved watching her run free, let loose, and just be a dog.
